Are You Ready for Love and Marriage? A Woman’s Hand Is Taken, AWHIT, is an inspirational book for single women in the church that have interest in marriage. It consists of forty courses to help you grow spiritually. The material covers every thing from believing God for a husband to planning and preparing wedding activities. The courses instruct you to strengthen your relationship with Christ, so he can present you a chaste, virtuous and radiant bride that’s ready to have her hand taken in marriage. The aim of AWHIT is to inform you to date and prepare for marriage without backsliding and compromising your faith. Being a virgin herself, Suell practices what she teaches. As she holds on to God’s hand and allows him to prepare her for marriage, she reaches out to others and encourages them to do the same. This former pastor’s daughter has an earned MPA in health services administration and has been saved consistently since 1981.

Although raised in the suburbs since childhood, the mid 1970's, she has a message that women from all segments of the population can relate to. Being initiated into Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, with a MPA in Health Services Administration, Tamara is an intelligent and informative author. In AWHIT, Tamara offers coverage on being financially, emotionally, physcially, mentally, morally as well as spiritually whole before marriage. She addresses the total package, and inspires women to be their personal best before getting married. With Christ in your life you can have it all!
Tamara, an author that identifies herself far more with the Christian Community, than African American, does a fantastic job at defending the need for virginity until marriage. There are influential people that have abused their time creating amusement films that depict virginity as being odd and un-natural. Thank God, that this author and other Christian authors have developed books to encourage singles in their walk in chastity. Selective Reader
Great book you'll love. i like it because it's not your same ole 'good girl bad girl' story. This is a book that brings out the concept of growing out of the girl stage entirely. She also talks about modesty and outter beauty. Every woman should be modest. Especially with her hair. Being a friend of mine, she is qualified to talk about beauty because she is one. Its not every day that you see a sister with long hair to her waist thats her own! True beauty is rare now days.
This is a book that you can't put down!Tamara Suell leaves no stone unturned in this needed book for single sisters in search of love and a husband! She gives expert advise on important things such as how to keep your virginity while away at college. She also tell you how to survive Valentine Day without a husband. No matter what your background is, she'll have you laughing, smiling ,praying or crying about something in this book that you can relate to.
