This book grabbed my interest from the first few pages. My husband worked in the telephone industry during this time and I had heard all the 'jargon', so it fascinated me to read about the life of someone else who went through this era. I could not put the book down. The author combined the lives of interesting people with the industry in a way that was amazing. When I finished reading it, I couldn't wait for my husband to read it so we could share the story. Thanks for such a good book.

By the time I finished the book, I was not sure how I would review it. At times the book dragged and I got tired of reading what food was being served everytime there was a gathering. I enjoyed the overall storyline and getting to know each of the characters, but felt that too much emphasis was put on their faith.

Excellent, interesting, and informative book about a man who excels in the telecommunications industry, and his poignant personal life and loves, written by an excellent, interesting, and informative man, Robert Zinnecker. Relates one man's corporate, religious, and personal values, and the many complex people involved in his life. Great book, great read!

I loved this book and did not want it to finish! It has something for everyone since it involves business situations, relationships and finding your faith. I identified with Wils McCann who is trying to find himself after his life changes. This is a well written story by Robert Zinnecker and a must read!

This book is an awesome read. The author has the ability to make you imagine you are in the story. The characters are wonderful people and make you wonder if you could be them! Months after I finished the book, I was still thinking about the message and the great story behind it. I highly recommend this reading. It would make for great book club conversation too!

Acquisition brings forth interesting characters and several plots that are suspenseful and entertainingly fun to follow. The book is a very compelling portrayal of Corporate America that can devour the lives of its employees that many have experienced or could easily empathize with on a personal basis. Whether you are a born again Christian, or one questioning the validity of God, the book will strengthen your spiritual passion or possibly open a door to your own personal relationship with God. Acquisition is well worth reading. It is a riveting novel with well-developed themes that keep your interest from beginning to end. I strongly recommend it.
