I purchased mainly to read the source accredited on the Wiki pages for the song idea credits and got much more. You get a feel for what he was living at the time and why he took a break from it all and why he was making a comeback.

This book provided one of the last deep insights into John Lennon, provided by Lennon & Yoko. As sad as it was that Lennon was very close to his premature death at the time of these interviews, he spoke excitedly about the future. Reading Lennon's day-to-day habits, and reading his sharp humor really makes me miss him still.Yoko also comes off as being ahead of her time in statements regarding the position of women in society circa 1980. Yoko makes many statments over 30 years ago which have only recently been realized in society. Her insights into the "energy" that are emotions seems very deep but also quite simple too. This book was not only a great glimpse into a superstars life; but also very educational and informative. Some of the comments about daily living would have been benefitial from anyone. But especially so from John & Yoko.

This is the best interview I have ever read. I'll never forget when it came out in the magazine a few days before Lennon was shot. Herein is Lennon's wit and wisdom. This interview changed my life.
