Alone

It often seems as though there is a never-ending cycle of pain and heartache that finds a way to consume the lives that we live. This toil dates back to the days of the ancients and can be perceived and understood through the lens of any belief system or ideology. But it is through these glimpses of our past that we can truly understand what has always been and find ourselves in those who came before us. But it takes truly being on our own to find oneself in the end. It takes being alone.
