Caradan Eagle Newspaper Reporter, Carrie James, welcomes life as an adventure and a new opportunity to learn. For her, every day is just "another day in paradise". Her inquisitive nature sometimes lands her in trouble, but her investigative talents have proven invaluable to the local Police. Carrie finds herself drawn to tall, blonde and gorgeous Kristian Corey, but the memory of a former love's treachery is still fresh and she is determined not to risk her heart again.
Kristian, a firefighter on leave, experiences tragedy when his twin sister disappears without a trace. He shares an attraction for the petite, curvaceous Carrie, and although she isn't beautiful, her blue eyes, stunning white blonde hair, pert little nose, and luscious pouty mouth is all he can think about. Kristian finds himself believing in "love at first sight", as well as the ability to "channel".
