What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

"One often hears the criticism that it is unclear how to get from 'here' to 'there' in Rawls, with 'here' referring to Rawls's very abstract theory and 'there' referring to the realistic utopia that he had in mind. Martin Carcieri's book makes this transition much easier in four crucial areas, especially regarding the contentious issue of race. This book is highly recommended reading for both political liberals and opponents to liberalism!" - Daniel A. Dombrowski, Professor of Philosophy, Seattle University, USA
