Aprovisionamiento e Intercambio: Analisis Petrologico Del Utillaje Pulimentado en la Prehistoria Reciente Del Pais Valenciano (Espaana)

A detailed study, based on a doctoral thesis, of the use of stone from the 7th to 3rd millennium BP in the region of País Valenciano along the east coast of Spain. The author looks at the history of investigation, the typology of stone artefacts, petrology, the acquisition of suitable raw materials, the production of objects and their function. New questions are asked of the data and the study ends with a synopsis of the evolution of the stone industry from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age.
