What we see taking place on a global scale is at a level like no other time in history. All the prophetic pieces of the puzzle are assembling before our eyes, pointing to the end. Along with the escalating signs of wars, earthquakes, famines and diseases, there is the Biblically predicted re-gathering of Israel as a nation, recognized in 1948, and continuing. Even more foreshadowing of the final hour is the political alignment of the nations against the Jews. The setting is screaming and ripe for a world leader to come on the scene offering peace and safety to a war-ravaged world on the precipice of nuclear annihilation. That sinister leader will soon emerge to captivate the nations through a great lie involving miraculous signs and wonders.
The night is coming. Will the people of God be gone, or will they remain until the end? Is the church being made spotless as a glorious bride? The author's purpose is not to debate, but to help strengthen and encourage the body to stand and see with eyes of faith. What is the day of the LORD like, and will we know the nearness of the hour? Can the children of the night be changed? Most of us have a destiny and purpose that has not yet been fulfilled and a secret place in which to dwell. This book was birthed through prayer to offer hope and godly illumination in a darkening age. The title was supernaturally impressed upon the author early one morning, taken from Hebrews 10:25 …as you see the day approaching.
