This is my favorite of the Calvin and Hobbes series. I laughed when the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster Snowgoons attacked Calvin, even though he created it. Now here's my favorite quote, "Beats me, now I wish I watched that dumb show. Maybe they stabed him with an iceycle."

I have been a Calvin and Hobbes fan for as long as I can remember, and this is definitely one of the best Calvin and Hobbes books ever. I was howling with laughter after reading through the book, and realized immediately that I needed to spread the news. I would definitley recommend this book.

This is a really good book and the comics were really funny. I give it 5 gold stars. A reason I really enjoy the comic is that they are easy to understand and really show the life of a true kid. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good lafe or who has read some Calvin and Hobbes comics before.

I love Calvin and Hobbes, and this ones one of my favorites. Calvin is such a good child with such a good attitude toward life. Calvin and Hobbes are by far the funniest comics books I've ever read, I woul compare them even to Tolkien! Everything about them are funny, the way he spends his time at home, what he eats forbreakfast, and his ideas about the world.

This is one of my favorite books! I loved it when Calvin was packing and his Mom comes home from a parent-teacher conference and he screams, 'She told you about the noodles, right?' Later in the book, before Christmas Calvin tells Hobbes he's been really good and Hobbes goes, 'What about the noodle incident?' and Calvin shouts, 'Nobody can prove I did that!' LOL! I love the references to the noodle incident!

After I read this book once, I read it 25 or more times all the way through, I've been a Calvin and Hobbes lover for three years, and i think the books just knock your freakin socks off just from laughing. I *teardrop* love Calvin and Hobbes!

This book is absolutly great. I had never read Calvin and Hobbes before, and I just fell in love with them. Calvin is like a five year old who never grows up, and uses huge words, and acts so adult, and Hobbes is his stuffed animal where when anyone else is in the strip with Hobbes, he's just a stuffed animal, but otherwise, is alive. I LOVE these books.

snow goons - the best of C&H in my view...how can any kid with that kind of imagination not be required to be put on a course of retelin or in special care???when i was younger, i was compared to calvin...i am not aware if this was based on personality or looks!

This book is really funny and filled with humor. I recommend this book to all readers, young or old. I probably read it about three times already. It's one of the funniest books that I have ever read.

No fall-down-and-bust-a-gut-laughing strips here, but a fine collection nonetheless of one of the best comic strips ever produced. The title sequence is especially surreal and macabre.

Bill Watterson was a comedic genius. Calvin and Hobbes never fail to disappoint. I adored them as a child, an adolescent, and even as an adult I continue to find them a delightful distraction from time to time.

What's not to like? Each mini-story fits into each other well, and we shall never forget Calvin's ingenious snowmen formations. I'm sure the traffic did "slow down" around his house. I wish I'd had his inspiration when I was growing up, and maybe I would have put my imagination to use more often.

I loved Revenge of the Baby-Sat, and I was excited to read Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster SNOW GOONS.Calvin and his old buddy, Hobbes, have once again gotten themselves into little adventures, which include duplicating themselves, bringing snowmen to life, and playing Calvinball! This time though, Calvin and Hobbes have gone a little too far when they bring an actual snowman to life! The snowman creates an army, which Calvin defeats by freezing them with water on a cold night. But apparently, that's not going to save them from getting in trouble with Calvin's parents! There are also more adventures that are just as funny in this collection! This book is awesome!I recommend it to EVERYBODY.

Calvin and Hobbes! This is a collection of some of their strips. It doesn't contain the best ones, in my opinion, but it's pretty hilarious. There's the one storyline, the title storyline, where Calvin is determined to get rid of these snowmen he imagines are out to get him. Of course, soaking them with the hose and yelling in the middle of the night doesn't make Mom and Dad too happy, and...well, read it yourself!--Catherine

Includes quite a few comics of Calvin's crazy snowmen and other winter adventures. One of the later collections, where Waterson's art is most imaginative and original. Even funnier now that we are parents to 3 five-year-olds!

More laughs with this classic comic strip. There's a reason it's a family favorite.
