Audition Monologs for Student Actors II

Ellis (theatre, Grand Valley State U.) presents 50 monologues from established and new playwrights that he feels would serve students well in competitive auditions, acting studio exercises, and other applications. The monologs range in length from one minute to ten minutes. Ellis has tried to remain sensitive to considerations of ethnic diversity in his selections and divides the monologs equally along gender lines. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR
