It was supposed to be just another gig for Codi Cassidy, a country music star.

As a favor to her bandmate, Bozeman James, Codi Cassidy agrees to be the opening act at an album release party for a rising star, a longtime friend of Bozeman's.

The concert hits a sour note when Codi discovers the star of the show dead in his bed.

When means, motive, and opportunity all point to Bozeman, he's arrested for the murder, and it's up to Codi to come up with another viable suspect.
