About the Author

Christopher Legg graduated in Economic Geology from the Royal School of Mines, London, in 1966. He worked in mineral exploration in Zambia, Kenya and Saudi Arabia before managing the Applications Support Team at the UK National Remote Sensing Centre. While there he helped found the Geological Remote Sensing Group of the Geological Society of London. In recent years he has undertaken geological remote sensing studies in Ethiopia, Cameroon, Senegal, South Sudan, Zambia and Zimbabwe
