Probably the 2nd best of the new 52 Batman runs, after Snyder's Batman, Batman&Robin has an interesting villain with a fairly intricate motive and plan. There is a lot of emotion intertwined into the plot, rather than just "Robin, let's go beat this guy up!" Ample appearances by Alfred sweeten the deal. I'm giving it 4/5, just because it wasn't as memorable as Batman, in my opinion. But, I think it deserves 4.5 stars.

Not only is it a whole new twist on the dynamic duo, but it gives some insight on the reason why Batman has only one rule when fighting crime. It's a great read.
