It's like the future. But no one knows how it's going to be. I feel so sorry what happend to Hugo! Once he was a young man, but now, he is not a human anymore. Alita is not a human but has a body of steel which is a cyborg. Very powerful, loves Hugo a lot. She was found in a dumpster, fixed by a man named, Ido. Hugo saves money to go to Tiphares. But, he saves it by removing parts from a cyborg in a clever way, when he asks them for a oil change. This comic book is very interesting!!!!

Battle Angel Aita is a series that has influenced some of the top names in Hollywood creative machine. It is obvious that James Cameron's Dark Angel was derived directly from this stunning and bold creation. Same is to be said of 'The Matrix' which is entirely a product of 'Ghost in a Shell'. If you are like me and enjoy cutting edge art and hard hitting story telling that envelopes you and never lets you go until the last bit of ink has been read. Then read this series and other incredible manga titles by reknowned authors such as Matsuhiro Otomo (Akira), Masamune Shirow (Ghost in a Shell) and Kia Asamiya (Silent Mobius).
