Quite an enjoyable read. Really thought the 2 main characters would never get their second chance. Secondary characters were well done especially Josuha. Glad I read it.

Deborah Holt wrote a love story about breaking hearts. She wrote of a meddling grandmother who thought she knew best. She wrote of Clay,a young man in love who wanted what was best, who thought he hnew best. She wrote about Kat whose heart was broken as she was forced to follow the dreams of those she loved instead of her own dreams. It is not a cliffhanger. It is a story about second chances and the courage of stating what you truly wanted and then allowing each person to choose their own way. I recommend this story,

I wanted to like it, so doesn't love a hot cowboy, but she was so whiney about him doing her wrong that it was just annoying

This book was honestly so much better than the usual junk written. I would have given it a five except that there were so many times misunderstandings killed the flow of the book. It was like doors slamming all the time. Open it up, only to have it slammed again. End result, frustration, not being able for the reader, to understand and enjoy.

Got tired of the constant whining about 12 years ago. I felt like someone needed to griw up and move on. Sometimes Joshua sounded more of an adult than Kaitlin and his dad. Started the second book and Jace and Angie seem more interesting! Lml

Second Chances Clay would do anything for Gram Russell even find her granddaughter on a Texas highway. Katelyn & her friend Angie decided to drive from Atlanta to Santa Fe. She didn't stop in her home town to see her grandmother, because she was afraid of running into Clay. Best made plans when her gram sends him to catch before her heart surgery. Can they right the past.

But it also about her controlling the grand daughters boyfriend, not only once but twice. The grand daughter and the boyfriend have many, many feelings and thoughts that make for much fun.

ACTUALLY - 4-1/2 STARS The story line was different from so many other cowboy stories and kept my interest from page 1 to the very end. I also recommend The Lawman's Apache Moon - The story continues staring with two of the people in Beware the Ranger

Kaitlyn Russell loved Clay Morgan. She couldn't wait to marry him. Her Grandmother Georgia believed Kat should go to New York to be an actress. She convinces Clay to break it off with her so she will leave. He breaks her heart and she leaves. Now 12 years later she has come home. Will she continue to have hard feelings toward him or allow her love to return? A well written story with strong believable characters. Also a sweet story of how Joshua and Kat feel about each other. Enjoyed so much I couldn't put it down. Looking forward to reading more of her books. joy943
