Barb Stocklin graduated with degrees in Elementary Education/Special Education and Early Childhood from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA. She then taught as a pre-school teacher for 12 years. As a teacher she always enjoyed reading books to her young students and loved taking them to different places through books. Her passion for teaching and love for her students motivated her to write so that young readers can learn positive lessons that are understandable and realistic to them.
