Black Man White Industry is a story of a young black man arriving in an industry by accident in 1975 straight out of High School and breaking all barriers. It's a riveting story of bonding with my white counterparts in the textile menswear business. It tells how I became the only black man in the United States to form my own textile corporation. The book has many twist and turns that will take you on a journey of race relation, politics, marketing, and tremendous adversity.

In addition it tells the history of men's tailored clothing, how it was in the golden years. I write about many great people that shaped and entire industry past and present and how I did business with practically every designer label imaginable.

About the Author

Don Martin has deep British Virgin Island roots, even though he was born in Harlem, New York, and was raised in the Bronx. He experienced a wonderful childhood growing up with hardworking parents that shaped his determination to be successful.
