On the run, in the midst of danger, the blistering passion they share explodes. Can these two opposites find common ground, or will Di smash Riley's stone heart?

About the Author

USA Today Bestselling Author Lisa Hughey has been writing romance since the fourth grade, which was also about the time she began her love affair with spies. Harriet and Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys later gave way to James Bond and Lara Croft and Jason Bourne. Exploring the complex nature of a profession that requires subterfuge and lies fascinates her. She loves combining her two passions into fiction. As evidenced by her Black Cipher Files series.

Taking a break from romantic suspense, Lisa entered the paranormal world of the Angelic Realm. The Seven deals with forbidden relationships between humans and Archangels. At its heart, Rafe is a novel about the dynamic of family relationships. As this series evolves, the core story continues to be about love triumphing in the face of opposition and heartache. (The really hot Archangels don't hurt.)

And recently she's been immersed in the Stone Family novellas, stories about a blended family of brothers and a sister who have a lot more in common than they realize. But of course she couldn't just write about family and romance. There are complex plots, bad guys, and suspense too.

Lisa loves to hear from readers and has various places you can connect with her, although, shh, Twitter is her favorite.

USA Today Bestselling Author Lisa Hughey started writing romance in the fourth grade. That particular story involved a prince and an engagement.

Now, she writes about strong heroines who are perfectly capable of rescuing themselves and the heroes who love both their strength and their vulnerability. She pens romances of all types—suspense, paranormal, and contemporary—but at their heart, all her books celebrate the power of love.

She lives in Cape Ann Massachusetts with her fabulously supportive husband, two out of three awesome mostly-grown kids, and one somewhat grumpy cat.

Yoga, hiking, and traveling are her favorite ways to pass the time when she isn’t plotting new ways to get her characters to fall in love.

Enjoyed reading this story a lot, except for the end. It's left wide open so we have to make up our own ending. Wonder what happems next?

I read some of the reviews but I really liked this story line it really kept moving along. Some interesting facts about our government. Some interesting facts; Secert Service was originally set up for Dept of the Treasury also according to our constitution we were never suppose to form any police for the government. Enjoy the book I did

This book is interesting, suspenseful and well-written. Although the main character is flawed, you can't help liking her because she has good intentions. Sex is a little explicit but the romance us great.

The heroine overthought everything, but so do many people. It was an enjoyable way to spend an evening. I'll look for her other books

Story is slow and storyline fuzzy. Main character never becomes likable. Answers to major questions in the story are never clearly answered or not answered at all. Not a story I would recommend.
