Sir Aubrey Tabor began with the most altruistic of motives. When the Brundys' (The Weaver Takes a Wife) seaside wedding trip is interrupted by a young woman claiming to be Mr. Brundy's sister, Sir Aubrey promises to do what he can in order to relieve his friend of an imposter whose presence poses a threat to marital bliss. But Polly proves to be more than a match for Sir Aubrey, and with each encounter, he finds himself thinking less of his friend's honeymoon and more about having one of his own...

About the Author

At the age of sixteen, Sheri Cobb South discovered Georgette Heyer, and came to the startling realization that she had been born into the wrong century. Although she doubtless would have been a chambermaid had she actually lived in Regency England, that didn't stop her from fantasizing about waltzing the night away in the arms of a handsome, wealthy, and titled gentleman.
Since Georgette Heyer died in 1974 and could not write any more Regencies, Ms. South came to the conclusion that she would have to do it herself. After honing her craft on five young adult books for Bantam's long-running Sweet Dreams series, she tried her hand at the genre she had loved for so long. Her first Regency romance, THE WEAVER TAKES A WIFE, was published in 1999, to critical acclaim.
In addition to her Regency romances, she is also the author of a series of Regency mysteries featuring idealistic young Bow Street Runner John Pickett, described by All About Romance as "a little young, but wholly delectable."

Delightful fun! I had high hopes after reading The Weaver Takes A Wife (book 1) and Brighton Honeymoon did not disappoint. So glad to have discovered this author and this series. Looking forward to the next installment.

Great follow up to Weaver Takes a Bride! South delivers again. I only wish she had continued to write, so I could continue to read her spin on Regengency romance. Please Dont't be put off by the lack of reviews for her books...I don't understand it myself, and mad glad the author provided Excerpts which tempered me to read the entire novel. Do yourselves a favor and read these books in order, the characters are well developed and flow through the series marvelously. I simply Love Ethan Branby! 'e's got a 'eart 'o gold!
