At the turn of the 22nd century, Bizzy, a young Filipino, leaves behind a homeland wracked by poverty and natural disasters to emigrate with his parents to Norway, where he takes up tapping into the artificial brains of buildings and cars all over the city of Bergen. He meets Nomi, an outgoing yet mysterious modular woman who changes her face and body parts on a daily basis. Their backgrounds couldn't be more different. So why can't they seem to stay out of each other's lives?
