Why did someone blow up Billie Bob's rebuilt riverboat? That's the latest case Em and Sandy are asked to solve. How is that related to a yacht that was sunk two years ago off the coast of San Lucas or the apparent accidental death of a big time crook's ex-wife? There doesn't seem to be anything relating these three incidents until the bomb signatures match up.

With their friend Stephanie, the girls fly to San Francisco for a vacation and also to look into the business dealings of Tom Everest, a man under investigation by the FBI.

Then, their client is almost killed in another bombing and the girls discover a bomb in Sandy's car. A visit to a top secret federal prison leads them to the bomb maker, but the bomber is still an unknown.

The girls use every bit of their abilities to track down the bomber and barely avert another attempt on their client's life.

Will the bomber get away? It certainly seems likely. How can the girls stop the criminal before another bomb goes off?

This is the fourth story in the Witch for Hire series. The girls use must use all their logic, deductive reasoning, and their own unique magical powers to solve the case of the Boat Bomber.

Gerald Doutt is a retired professor of electrical engineering technology. He has been a scuba diver, a photography, a television engineer, and a small airplane pilot. He lives in Independence, Missouri with three cats and a gang of visiting cats, possums and raccoons. He first became interested in science fiction while watching the Tom Corbett television show after he received a Tom Corbett book for a Christmas present a very long time ago. His owns property that looks suspiciously like his heroine's office, although theirs is in much better repair. Mr. Doutt holds a master's degree in electrical engineering and has some doctoral credits. More Witch for hire books are in the works as is a pure science fiction series entitle "Sam the Spaceman".
