Casino Run is a true account of my late wife and I when we made a fast run to the casinos in Louisanna. Hoping for a weekend of FUN and relaxation, only to be met with three days of very unusal events, some will find them hard to believe, but all are TRUE!!!! Not only did we hit a few jackpots, had dinner with Tom Jones, we also saved a ladies life, helped a bleeding man, dodged runaway JACKASSES, escaped mice in bed, and almost had a fist fight with someone who mistook us for his wifes LOVER. We also were part of a group of Carole's posse, which had happy times and laughs.

About the Author

Forrest Haskell, whose wife of many years passed away just as he completed this story, it took him four years to come to grips with her death, however, after this time of grief he met another woman, a very loving and understanding person. Even though he lost his green-eyed beauty, he found another beauty, who had brown-eyes, a wonderful smile and kind heart. He is now married to this sweetheart and lives in North Richland Hills, Texas. He has four grown children and written severl books, many of which are listed on Amazon or Barnes & Noble. He also was the author of the month for all of Barnes & Noble's stores in Texas. Retired now but still playing tennis, traveling, walking his dog sparky and enjoys his writing.
