I prefer romantic suspense to straight romance so this was a little out of my genre'. However, I like Elizabeth Lowell and so I gave it a try. I thought both main characters were shallow and a bit selfish. An ok read if you can't find something else to peak your interest.

Everyone has secrets, but Mandy Blythe's cut deeper than most - and her attraction to her boss's nephew, Damon Sutter, is only one of them. When Mandy's boss conspires to send the two of them on what is supposed to be a fabulous getaway reef diving off the coast of Australia, all of Mandy's secrets come home to roost. Terrified of small planes and of the ocean, what should have been an idyllic few weeks for Mandy become a nightmare as she's caught between Damon and the deep blue sea....The premise may be far-fetched, but the emotions ring true.

I LOVED it. It kept me up late until my eyes couldn't stay open. Once you get started, you won't want to stop until you get to the last word. Keeps you up all night, turning pages to see what happenes next.

I truly enjoyed reading this sexy and steamy story. The characters and the plot in the story were likable. Most importantly, Ms. Lowell knows how to capture her audiences. I am looking forward to reading her next book.

I thought the book was good...a little steamy but the plot was alright. Mandy and Damon were good characters...I read atleast 7 romances a week and I can honestly say i've read this one more than once.
