Charles Fischetti was a central figure in the Kefauver Committee hearings that investigated organized crime in the early 1950s. For sometime he and his brother Rocco were fugitives, hiding out rather than testify before committee investigators. Charles was a cousin of Al Capone and was once the mobster's chauffeur.
