Charleston: 1900-1915

This collection of turn-of-the-century postcards represents Charleston 100 years ago. Compared to the city residents and visitors know today, the resemblance is remarkable; however, much has changed. The property that once housed the Orphan House became a Sears Roebuck and, later, the growing College of Charleston.
