Ian Gidman's debts are growing by the month, and there's nothing he can do about it. His partner is favourably inclined towards some serious financial misappropriation at Ian's expense and, like a twig in a raging torrent, Ian's life is spun around by events beyond his control. Just as he thinks the situation is improving, his former partner goes on the offensive once again and it seems that, even when he's thousands of miles away, Ian can't shake off his adversary. Meanwhile there's a ten million pound embezzlement going on, right under everyone's noses. But who's pulling the strings and orchestrating events? It has the feel of a lady's hand.

Interesting plot. The story starts slow as the characters are developed and then moves to a rapid conclusion.
