Claim Me, Cowboy by Charlene Sands

The Copper Mountain Rodeo has returned to Marietta and cowboy reputations aren't the only thing at stake...

When Summer Nichols inherited half of the Circle W Ranch, she didn't know her rodeo-riding, bad boy ex-boyfriend came with the deal. But sure enough, Tyler Warren, the man who broke her heart and left her in Marietta years ago, is back and living on the ranch again, claiming he wants no trouble. He's certainly not back to rekindle their decade ago romance.

Ty only wants what's rightfully his, and then he's gone, but not even family secrets and Summer's seemingly deep betrayal can keep him from remembering the good times he had with the preacher's sweet, beautiful daughter, once upon a time. Summer is more woman than he expected...

Will Ty seize his second chance, uncover the real truths of the past, and claim Summer's love again?

How much can one person lose? How many times can you be overlooked for someone else, or something easier? Heartache and loss vie with love and redemption in this rodeo based story that definitely drew me deeper into the world surrounding Marietta, Montana. Sands develops emotionally engaging characters who truly allow you to experience their story with them. Summer’s need to stick to her word and be a good person all around, regardless of what that means for her personally. Ty is fighting against a past that he drowns in, even though he wants so much more. Together, and surrounded by the fantastic characters found in Marietta, both developed in this novel and elsewhere in the series, Sands develops a fantastic support system for her loveable characters. This was a fantastic & completely enjoyable read, it was simply missing that ‘can’t put it down’ quality for me. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

I was so excited to see the rodeo return to Marietta, Montana. Lots of sexy cowboys! Ty has returned home after eleven years to settle his father's estate, only to find out his first love, Summer owns half of his father's ranch. Ty is now a daddy to a sweet little girl, Becca. I fell in love with this little girl. plus Ty is such a sweet daddy! This is a story of second love and forgiveness. A fast paced story, that you will not want to put down. Well written characters. I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review.

When I think of small towns, I always think about secrets. Tyler and Summer were first loves, until he left. Eleven years later he returns home with some secrets of his own. Summer has kept secrets too and they all eventually come out. The question is... will the secrets pull them together or tear them apart? I enjoyed revisiting the small town Marietta and all its hidden gems. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was a fun and heartwarming book. They were in love in high school, but he left town and she refused to go with him. Now they are reunited and the spark is still there. I loved all of the characters in this story. Summer and Tyler were great. I got really mushy over Tyler when I saw what a great father he was also. It was fun to go back to Marietta for another rodeo this year. Yet another wonderful story about a wonderful small town.

Tyler's been gone a long time before he left had fallen in love with Summer. While he was gone Summer married his best friend and then his friend later passed away leaving Summer a widow. Tyler returned when his father passed away and found that his Dad had left half of everything to Summer and half to Tyler. When Tyler came back he had a daughter who Summer helped him watch and take care of while he worked on the ranch. There are several twists and turns with the book and it is full of surprises. I think you will enjoy this book as much as I have.

When Ty returns to his hometown, Marietta Montana, the last thing he expects is to find the love of living in his childhood home. As the secrets start to reveal, and there are several of them, he is determined he was right at the age of 18, to ride away from the town, and should have never returned. I liked Ty, he is very straight forward, he is honest, he doesn't hide his feelings, and he has a generous heart. The way he doted his daughter, took care of her, and made sure she had everything she needed, was adorable. Summer chose her hometown against Ty in her teens. She is the good girl of the town, preacher's daughter, and couldn't, wouldn't leave Marietta, when Ty asked her to go with him. Now, years later he is back. Despite of everything that has happened in their lives since then, the feelings are still there, and burning hot. The passion and attraction between them is something they can't ignore, and are not willing to. Ty and Summer obviously belong together, but are the secrets going to be too much, is there too much hurt and pain in their history, that they can build a lasting relationship? Forgiveness is needed, understanding and maturing, so the past can be left behind, and focus on the possibilities in the future. The story flows freely from the pages, and was a delight to read. It is a novella length, so a quick read, but the story is satisfying, it made me smile and at times wonder about life. Ty had a lot he needed to process, past events and hurt to absolve, to be able to go on. The growth and the process of that is shown clearly, as well as the characteristics of the fine man he has grown up to be. Looking forward to the rest of this new series, it seems to be full of enjoyable characters, a sweet romance, and passion that can change their lives. ~ Four Spoons

A fabulous second chance romance. Eleven years ago Summer Nichols lost a bet to Tyler Warren. Her pay up was to kiss him. Summer never forgot that kiss or Tyler after he left town to join the rodeo. Summer went on to marry Ty’s best friend who eventually lost his life in a tractor accident. Ty has returned to Marietta for the rodeo and to handle his father’s estate after his death. Summer had been a nurse when she quit her job to move in and take care of Owen, Ty’s father, after his heart attack. She remains in the house because she was given half of it in Owen’s will. The other half belongs to Ty. But Ty doesn’t plan on staying in town. He has other plans for his life. Summer gets the surprise of her life when Ty moves in with a baby. If it is Ty’s baby, where is the mother? Summer always wanted a baby, but wasn’t able to have one. Will baby Becca be the one to reunite Summer and Ty? I enjoyed this story a lot. I couldn’t put it down. Ty and Summer were perfect for each other.
