Clifford tries to find the perfect Halloween costume for trick or treating. He lists different ideas and has an open ended question at the end for the reader to answer. The students were very engaged in the story because it was a Clifford book and one about Halloween. It is a great seasonal story.
It¿s Halloween. Emily Elizabeth talks about the hijinks at last year¿s Halloween party and ends with a question: what should Clifford be for Halloween this year?

Regardless of what Clifford dresses as for Halloween, everyone will know who he is due to his large size. This is why this book is so good and funny.
