In the grim aftermath of bloody, pandemic warfare, a warrior searches for peace from his grief. Unfortunately, the rare safe haven in which he has taken refuge struggles to survive a mounting array of threats in an increasingly hostile and perilous world. Set in a dystopian and lawless future, Communitas captures the raw pain of war and tragedy and the healing power of deep friendship and belonging. In a tense and breathtaking narrative, Silver takes on some of today's most pressing questions regarding technology, culture, human connection, faith, vulnerability, and spiritual wellness in a postmodern era.
