Corrupt City 2 didn't disapppoint. As this sequel unravel it leaves you on the edge of your set wondering if Donald"Lucky" Gibson luck runs out. All the twists and turn surprise you with unpredictable endings. Tra Verdejo has created a character that you love to hate. You find your self rooting for the bad guy hoping that he has a chance to pay back all the corrupt officials in the city of New York. I can't wait to see what's next for Tra Verdejo. Great job
I absolutely LOVED this series!!!
Who said sequels could not leave you as speechless as the original? After sitting on the edge of my seat awaiting the arrival to the sequel to Corrupt City I was not disappointed. This book takes off right where the first left off. It started off slightly slower than the first for me but quickly picked up toward the middle as "Lucky" continued to push his luck picking up new casualties of war in the process. I was impressed with the shocking twists and turns that I never would have suspected. This story tied the characters in and ended with another shocking turn of events. However, it will not leave you empty for answers which is a plus to me when it comes to sequels. Good job! Look forward to reading more from this talented author!
