There are beings in the world of spirit that communicate with those of us who are still living in physical bodies. Why would these beings, finally liberated from the problems of material life, bother to communicate with us? After all, isn't the afterlife supposed to be a realm where there are no cares, no worries, no problems? It seems the spirits of those who have passed on from the Earth are trying to help us. While those who have passed on are at peace, they are also working to help the universe.
As well as allowing me to communicate with the spirits of loved ones, my spiritual experiences allow me to connect to a conscious energy with a greater understanding of the universe than any human being. Some people might call this energy a spirit guide or an advanced being. But this energy is not to be personified or labeled within our current understanding. This energy sends messages that can inspire us to become less egocentric and motivate us to create a better world.
As a psychic medium, I find myself communicating with those in the world of spirit in two ways. When I do a mediumistic reading for a client, I connect with the spirits of their loved ones who have passed on. When I go into the light trance state some call "channeling," I am connecting with what I perceive as a cosmic energy that exists in a spiritual realm beyond human comprehension. I receive messages in the form of visions, words and sounds. The part of me that is a spark of the Divine connects with this Divine realm. In a light trance state, I can travel to a spiritual realm to which I don't have accessduring a normal state. I become aware of the interconnected, interplanetary, cosmic energy that flows around and through us all, that is, indeed, the stuff we are made of.
As we face the problems of our world -- war, poverty and pollution -- we need guidance, perhaps more than ever before. And as we approach the year 2012 that some people fear will bring the end of the world as we know it, and as we face a seeming meltdown of economic and societal infrastructures, more and more people are turning to other realms for solace, advice, and the tools we need to live every day. But we are not going to be able to solve our world problems unless we evolve spiritually. Right now we cannot find ways of living together without killing each other, starving each other and polluting each other. The future of our world depends on our abilities to evolve in a positive way: to let go of our egos, realize we are not separate beings, and to evolve to a consciousness that finds poverty, pollution, and war unthinkable. We are responsible for the future, and it is the development of a cosmic consciousness that will allow us to save the world. The Cosmic Connection belongs to everyone. As we discover this connection, we receive and we evolve. Our lives improve, and we change the world.

Allow me to share with you some words I received during a session with the energy I call "My Guidance".
From My Guidance:
The Red Fence and The Sand

"The red fence stretches across the valley of the desert
Not a tree for miles around and the red fence divides the
parcels of the desert from each other
The sands blow freely back and forth across the fence,
knowing no boundaries
The fence is but an illusion to the sand
cause it knows that it will blow over it,
it will blow through it
The sand knows the fence is a figment of its own
imagination
It is but a novel decoration to the sand's reality

The rubber band flies throughout the universe
Stretching and propelling and forming different shapes
Holding things together and then loosening its grips
And then letting the things spill out from its clutches
The paper clip marches stoically across your desk,
trying to organize your life for you
A very useful creature
And the tack that you dream of travels the world and visits many realities
What a shock,
You are no greater than the thumb tack or the paper clip or the fence
Each is an illusion of its own kind
Each has top priority
Go now among the world and realize that everything can dissolve into a thumb
tack, into a paperclip, into a fence, into the dust that flies freely
The dust that flies freely is your formal destination

Honor the energy in all that exists
And let it flow freely through the wind
And the wings of your soul will fly."
