Overview

Something was calling from the other side. Maybe they should have ignored it.

Carol Hamilton is one of the most brilliant, quantum physicists in the world. Her mother and father were smarter than her, but they disappeared into one of their experiments, leaving her to try and figure out what happened.

When she opens a doorway to another part of the universe, it draws the attention of the military, the politicians and everyone else that wants to have a say in the matter.

Realizing she may have found a way to bring her parents home, she sets off a chain of events that could have dire consequences for the entire universe. Or did those events start when her parents went missing?

The Army is tasked with the impossible mission of bringing her parents back and Carol isn't about to let them go without her. But, when the general places two mysterious strangers on the rescue team, the others have to figure out what's really going on.

Why are the strangers going with the team? Why does Carol keep hearing her father's voice in her dreams? And what will happen when she realizes she may be bringing about the end of the universe?

Crossing The Veil is the third novel in the Cold Shivers Nightmare series and will show just how far evil will go to destroy that which it can't control.

About the Author

I am an artist and author and I always feel like I have a story to tell. Whether it be with a brush or pencil in my hands or with a computer in front of me, there is a story to tell.

I remember reading The Lord Of The Rings when I was about 14-years-old and around the same time I read about Brooks' world of Shannara and McCaffrey's dragons. And who could forget Donaldson's Thomas Covenant series?

Once I got my first job at sixteen, I was buying all kinds of books about stories of fantasy and adventure. If Kindle had been around back then I'm sure I would have filled the memory up in no time. One of my favorite haunts back in the day was the many dusty, musty used bookstores in my hometown, looking for that next treasure that would take me away.

I like the process of building worlds and creating characters. At this moment, I am building the world of Garlan of Whitestone Castle. I am keenly interested in seeing what kind of adventures Garlan has over time and hope there is an impatient horde of rabid readers who want to take the journey with me.
