I very much love this book and the blog. I read the reviews before buying the book and was very surprised. After finally purchasing it and reading it, I came to a decision that it's a "coffee table" book. Some of her posts are in this book, but not all. It's nice guide to have around when you're stuck staring at your wardrobe with no creativity in your head. Some of the other reviews said that it seemed too preteenish/teenish. I think that it's a book designed for a younger crowd. But, women out there can absolutely use this as a guide to satisify their mature tastes in the work world and social scence. It's a sweet DIY, fashion, food, and home book that definetly holds newer, fresher ideas. I have to say, great job Emily Schuman. Madison-Ft. Lauderdale, FL

if you read the blog, you will be very disappointed. this is a small book, a rehash of the blog. the content looks dated- even the makeup and styles she chose to feature look dated!!! half the recipes are already up on the blog. it lacks humor and style, its just dull. miss.

I am very sad to have to agree with the negative reviews. I love Emilly, and have been reading C&C since 2008. Her blog (used to be) fun innovative and inticive to read. This book is full of unoriginal content (copied from her blog) and some very outdated styles and tips. I excpeted better things.. saying that her blog has taken the turn for unoriginal-lack of new content-repetative ideas type route. I do hope her next book is better.

I enjoy her blog and now with the blog I have a hard copy of what I've read online. I would of liked to see new content but for her first book I think it's wonderful.

Waste of money! Everything was copied from the blog. Uninteresting, unoriginal, everything is just sort of bland.

I love her blog but unfortunately I would have to agree with everyone when they say that most of her stuff in her book is also in her blog. Ah well...

My as well just read the blog, it's the exact same thing. No new or original content.

I've loved the C&C blog and have read it for a long time, but this was not what I was expecting for her book. Unfortunately, the shallow copy in the book reflects the shift in her blog posts, which have become increasingly short and less interesting. I really wanted to like this book, but it was made up of most of the pieces of her blog. Read the blog, don't buy the book!

Although its not an expensive book, still not worth the money. This book is tiny - maybe 8"x8" at the most. Reads like it was written for a preteen. Boring, bland, childish.

Don't waste your money on the book, just read the free blog. No original content; this blogger needs to learn how to be more daring, less self-absorbed, more creative and not be fooled by the hundreds of "positive comments" on her blog. If her blog details what inspires her, this book was her chance to show her readers what comes next, who she is, what her adaptations/inventions/creations. Now I'm starting to doubt her content choices on her daily blog; it seems readers were hoping for that next level...
