I really enjoyed this followup to Stung. It is centered more around a secondary character from the first book, "Jack", although Fo and Bowen are present throughout. It was a change of pace to see a sequal written this way, and I really liked that. The book takes place shortly after the last one left off. The cure has been found, but chaos still rules. Poor Jack lives a life of secrets, and Ms. Wiggins does a great job with inner turmoil this character faces on a daily basis. There is a little romance (quite innocent) and a lot of action. It has a great feel good ending that wraps the story up quite well (though I would love to see the story continue). I really hate a cliffhanger! Thank you so much Ms. Wiggins for a great read! Cannot wait to see what you come up with next! -- SPeeD

When I first read Stung I couldn't stop readingg...always wanting to keep turning the page. I lovedd the romance and there was always some obstacle the characters have to face next. I was a little scared cured wasn't going to be that good because "Jack" was going to be the new main character but I loved cured! I thought stung and cured were both amazing books. I ended up liking Jack/Jacqui like I liked Fo. She's always leaving you thinking what she's going to do next. She's brave and she's so confused and hurt. But then kevin comes along. I really liked kevin, he was kinda sketchy at first but he was always trying to protect jacqui and when you found out what he was really doing it made you like him more. I hate cliffhangers but I really liked the ending. It left you thinking making you have to read the next one. But the only hard part about liking a series is having to wait for the next one to come outt...but can't wait to see what she comes up with nextt (:

Cured: A stunned novel Cured by Bethany Wiggins. Bethany Wiggins started writing on a dare and dove headfirst into the world of writing. Wiggin’s lives in the desert wither her husband and 4 kids and two very fluffy cats. She failed 9th grade English because she would read novels instead of doing her homework. Bethany first published book was in 2011 which was Shifting, second published book in 2013 was stung and the most recent published was in 2014 which was Cured: A Stung Novel. Cured takes many twists and turns which makes you want to keep reading to find out what happens next. Cured has many different genres which are Dystopia, Romantic, Science fictions and young Adult. The setting takes places in October. Jacqui lives inside what is known as "the wall" with her family. Jacqui eventually meet Kevin and then he takes her to a fortified structure which is Kevin's home on the side of the Rocky Mountains. Most of the characters are known as raiders who have guns and raid abandoned houses and they steal food, food weapons and woman. But there is also Jacqui's mom and dad her brother dean, friends Fo, Bowen, Jenna, Jonah, The protagonist is Jacqui who is actually Jack. Jack who is around the age of 16 now has short hair and wears a tackle vest so no one knows that she's a girl. When jack was on watch when she was still with dean and fo she dropped her gun and stumbled to find her gun and couldn’t get it she turned on a flash light and then she pointed it at the ground so she could grab her gun... While that happened she heard a noise in the golf course, she shinned the flash light into the golf course and someone was running at her, they fought and Jack stabbed the person but the other person still overpowered her with his hurt arm. Later on in the book Jacqui gets caught by raider and all of a sudden... Is Kevin on her side? Or is he a raider? Or is he pretending? I believe Bethany Wiggins did an excellent job on this book, she keep the reader interested on what will happen next by throwing in twists. The theme of Cured would trust because in the book you would never know who was a raider and who wasn’t. Cured can be compared to the Hunger Games Series because it a fight for survival in the hunger games and in cured it’s a fight against the bee sting viruses and to try to find a cure for the virus. This book is a 10/10 because Bethany Wiggins defiantly put a lot of thought into the book. This book would be from I’d say age 13+ and it would be recommended for people who hate books because in cured it keeps you wanting to find out what happens next so it makes you keep reading to find out

Initially , I thought I would be put off by the change in the character telling the story . I was so involved with Fo in her first person perspective in Stung. I quickly warmed up to Jack though and the story continued to keep me in its grip Excellent read once again

I finished cured and stung within 7 hours. Amazing books that set my heart and soul on a journey. Even when I first began the book I didn't like hoe it was in jacks point of view but grew to like it no, love it. I couldn't put the books down and ate my dinner so fast it hurt. Mrs.wiggins you did wonderful. Remember that all authors have talent. If you will excuse me I will be reading the books a second time

This book was okay. No where near how great the first book stung was. The point of view was jacks or jaquis and she literaly said 2 words in the whole first book and was never mentioned again. Now they can write a whole book on her point of view? I would've liked it to be fo's, bowen's, or johan's, or all three of them. But no not jacks. The first book had A LOT of romance and action but it this book it was very little romance parts and even fewer action parts. I was very disapointed how the author wrote this book. It was very boring to me. No where near how good divergent, hunger games, the fault in our stars, maze runner, beautiful creatures, or matched was. But of course I would love to read another book in the stung series, just maybe not in jacks point of view.

I loved it but I wish she ended up with Jonah or make another book for him. I really started to like him as the book went on. Over all it was a great book. I read it in two hours right after I finished the fist one (which was also great.) I loved it I cant get over it now!!! :)

When Jack was kept in Kevin's "house" she found tampons. As soon as i saw that, i thought that he was either a r^pist or a raider r^pist. But luckly he was just a siren. I was kinda hoping for a little more but the book was fine. I wish there was a third book in the searies that tells about theirvlives in the settlement. The raiders should come in and take all the men to make the women more vulnurable and Fo and Jack should try and rescue Jonah, Kevin, and Bowen.
