When Eric asks Daniella to spend a sensual—and kinky—afternoon with him, she has no idea of his ulterior motives. After a time, she figures out what he is up to, and to Eric’s shock, it’s not a deal breaker. Daniella agrees to continue their planned weekend, with some extras on her part. Because of their previous encounters, Eric assumes Daniella to be weak and submissive, the ideal pawn in his game. Although she has no idea the extremes he’s planning for her, Daniella is nowhere near the demure young lady he thought she was, and she has a vindictive streak as strong as his. As their weekend continues, Daniella sets in motion a few surprises of her own. She turns the tables on Eric, and he’s helpless to do anything but endure what she has in store for him. They’re both stubborn, and neither is yelling uncle—or any other safe word. Just when you think you have Eric and Daniella figured out, you really don’t. One moment I was cheering for Daniella; the next I wanted Eric to win. This erotic journey has a lot of surprises, and I enjoyed this very interesting take on a revenge fantasy. I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 4.5 stars.
