Overall I did enjoy this book. It was well written and interesting. After reading many, many pages of the book I began to wonder if I was reading a zombie tale or not. It took way to long to come to the zombie part.

Not a bad story, nothing extraordinary but if you like zombie/apocalyptic stories this is fairly entertaining. A little weak on the actual apocalyptic nature of the event, but interesting none the less.

Generally good story and characters but slow to get to the zombies. I would consider this book to be Young Adult fiction due to the story line. There is a lot of first love and looking for love during the tale. There were a few situations where I wondered what the characters were thinking such as no one trying to call outside the town for help even though there was a working phone in the building. Overall, keeps your interest.

Hard to believe this is this young author's first effort. Great descriptive writing...I swear I kept smelling sweat, sex or blood, all the way through this horrifying, character driven, action read.

I LOVED IT! I felt like the book was more than a zombie tale..all towns are full of people just existing, going through the motions of life like the zombies do in the end of the book. hope to see more of this author.
