In book 3, we continue with Angela McAlister, who is now pregnant.  A terrible curse had been placed on the Wilcox family, and Angela was determined to find a way to break the curse. Angela and Connor were going to be together forever, or at least until the curse would claim the life of Angela.  But Angela, being her own person and not one to let an ancient curse take her life, sets out to discover how to break this curse.  What she discovers from so many people leads her on a journey to reveal the past. Rival clans with their own stories passed down from generation to generation, and two young lovers to set the world right.  Travel with them and see if the curse can be broken, or claim another life.

Do you ever like something so much that nothing else seems to fill the void when you've finished reading it? I'm waiting for more Witches of Cleopatra Hill!!

I would recomend this series of books to anyone over 18, only because there are a few racey parts that may not be suitable for some minors. Nothing vulgar in my opinion, and they did add to the story and the fact that... oh well, I don't want to put spoilers in this review. I read the first book in this series as a free offering, then immediately purchased the second book in the series. Then I purchease the third book immediatly after finishung the second. The author made me care about the characters and what happened to them. Again not wanting to spoil any of the plot, I wished that Christine had chosen another place for them to settle. Oh well, what do I know, I am not an author... yet. Thanks for writing this series and for teasing me with the first book. I want to take a break from The Witches of Cleopatra Hill, but I will be back to lose myself in the second three books and more. I am sure that I will be reading more of Christine Pope's impressive catalog of books.

It took awhile for the story to unfold. But the ending was heart touching. People see what they want to see or belive. Connor & angela are awesome to go through the desert to start a beautyful healing, that i feel will be a new legend story for generations to come.

Beautiful ending to Connor and Angela's story. I like how everything was wrapped up and given a satisfying conclusion. I sort of wish it could have continued, but these characters earned this ending! :-)

Darkmoom third book in the trilogy. If you haven’t read any of the “Witches of Cleopatra Hill”, a trilogy made up of three titles DarkAngel, DarkNight, and DarkMoon, now is the time! The first two books are cliff hangers, for sure, and waiting for the second and third books always left me thinking…..thinking at the end of each day, thinking while waiting for the traffic light to change, whenever I found myself with time for thinking, I did, “How will this story come together?” There is no need to summarize the story line here, for you can get that anywhere. I have to confess that Angela, however naïve of the real world, became like a little sister to me in the first book. Not only did I like her, but I often wanted to give her advice. I carried her fears and problems with me throughout my day. Of course, little did I know of what it would be like to be a prima of a clan like the McAllisters, nor could I imagine what a search of a consort would be like, but Pope made her paranormal life feel normal non the less. That was the fun part of the books. If you need to get away…if you need something better that TV, you need to read these three easy read, fun books. Set in northern Arizona, the plot revolves around two clans of colorful witches and warlocks, truths and fables of past and present, love lost and found, and a curse that transcends generations. I found the books perfect for the hot, humid days of summer when all I really want to do is have a cold drink and “chill” with a fun book. The final book concluded in a way I wasn’t suspecting and I liked the way everything got tied together so sweetly. So, if you like paranormal, if you like romance, and if you want an unusual plot, read the three books in this trilogy and enjoy. Christine Pope is a creative author, enhancing her storyline with great descriptions of the geographical setting.
