Overview

When his Marine son is killed by friendly fire in Desert Storm, truck tycoon Vince Fazio constructs two massive trucks and sends them on a swath of destruction across the country blowing up air force bases to avenge the death of his son.  Chasing the behemoths is Phoenix detective Manny Breen whose sister has been killed by the trucks.  Aiding Breen is Phoenix chopper pilot Sharon Kramer; together they hunt down and battle the monsters as they race to stop them before they obliterate the White House.  The denouement is as powerful as it is riviting.

About the Author

Cy has performed as a singer/dancer on Broadway and at the Globe Theatre in London's West End. Other credits include singer on the Ben Bagley Painted Smiles albums and tours playing principal parts with Howard Keel and Buster Keaton.

Mr. Young has had three plays published by Samuel French and three musicals produced in New York City Off-Broadway. Other writing credits include over 40 radio plays for Heartbeat Theatre in Los Angles, animation scripts for Rankin Bass, 2 optioned screenplays, rewrite for Mort Lachman on Gimme A Break, story ideas sold to Hart To Hart, and head writer for Ralph Andrews at Columbia TV on the game show pilot, Show Me. Cy was a segment producer on Lie Detector with F. Lee Bailey. Cy's song, Draw Me A Circle, is on the Barbra Streisand Third Album and was used to open one of her early TV specials. Cy's short story, The Schitzel Connection, won first place in an Oklahoma Writer's Association competition and was adapted as a play, later produced by Samuel French as The Sloth. Sloth has been performed around the world. Schitzel was published as a short story on Twit Publishing in January, 2011.

Mr. Young is a member of Actor's Equity Association, Screen Actor's Guild, and The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. He holds an Active Membership in The Dramatists Guild as well as The Author's League of America and is a graduate of Northwestern University.
