This book covers everything; from introducing the disease, to different disc diseases by region, standard medical treatments, alternative treatments and self-care, along with much more. The alternative treatments were really great: acupuncture, rolfing, and more. It really helped inform me on the disease, since my friend just got diagnosed with it. Great book for those suffering. I gave it to my friend he says he's learned a lot.
