Overview

With the possibility of starvation as a constant companion, Laios's party continues advancing deeper into the dungeon. The adventurers have made it to the third floor, but only rotting zombies, ghastly spirits, living paintings, and golems await them—all of which are absolutely inedible. The party has come this far by adapting and learning how to live off the dubious bounties of the dungeon. But how will they manage when even the meanest monster won't make a decent meal?

A mimic that’s a crab hiding in a shell?? THAT’S SO COOL. OF COURSE IT’D BE DELICIOUS! With a little lemon and butter, maybe old bay, I bet it’d be amazing...

Have you ever wondered how those characters in the role playing games find time to eat? This book series is all about how a group of adventures find their missing friend and how they chow down on the monsters they fight in the dungeon. This is number two in the series. It's not so much action like others about this subject in as it's more along the lines of light comedy. So far both books have had little to no crude humor at all so it's very tame compared to some manga and honestly I was looking for something a little more calmed down. All the characters are memorable and likable and it's interesting how they find ways to the eat the monsters they are killing. Little blood for a monster slaying graphic novel so while this might not be for young readers kids 11 and older will be fine reading it and even adults who love a fun fast comic without overdone crass. I love this series so far and can't wait for the last two to come out.
