Overview
Beaver Dam Middle School is in for a big surprise with its newest student, Stephanie Sanders. Sixth grade is one of the toughest years for a young girl, so why not make a stand right from the beginning? Stephanie has been ready for this day for a while. She is not one to be swayed from her beliefs or to turn her back on her classroom friends. She is kind and loving to others with a good sense of humor. BUT, sometimes things are not what they seem to a sixth grader. Among all of the first day of "school day jitters" Stephanie receives a note from a new boy who she has never met. This note sets off a string of thoughts that she is determined to keep in check, because in her heart she knows... that she is called to be a leader.
Stephanie has never had a problem with boldness, being raised in a Christian home with a loving family, so she knows how important it is to keep her relationship with God first. It is her energetic loving ways that help out the newest student at Beaver Dam Middle School, Justine. Along with Marcie Overbee, her best friend for years, the two of them have decided that it is not a BAD thing to be different. For the last couple of weeks, the two girls have been learning about keeping themselves pure. They're learning to find God's plan for their lives instead of jumping into any relationship that comes their way. After all they are ONLY TWELVE!
This decision is not as easy as Marcie had thought, but with Stephanie by her side, Marcie learns that people don't define who you are. It's the choices you make that define who you are. And with their right choices, the two girls set off to make a difference among the students at Beaver Dam Middle School. It's going to be a great year!
