They've wiretapped the apartment.
They've got their daughter.
They told them they'd hurt her if they spoke about it.
They told them, "Don't say a word . . ."
Or else . . .

This was recommended by a friend since I'm not a reader of thrillers however, this is one book you cannot put down. The movie was an insult to the book! So much details were left out of the movie and the kidnapper watching over the little girl was like a babysitter instead of the monster he was portrayed to be in the book!! By all means read the book before seeing the movie.

If you're going to see the movie, read the book first. It's so much better.

I loved this book. I have seen the movie, and they were both great. I couldn't even imagine one day waking up and finding out that your child was takin and was being kept in the room next door.

Don't Say a Word is a great book!! I loved every minute of it and I can't wait to see the movie. A little gruesome at times but none the less it is an outstanding book.

This book was definitely a page turner. I couldn't put the book down. The end of every chapter in the book, kept you wanting to know more. What I liked about this book was that it wasn't verbose, like some books I've read. I know some people like those types of books, but I tend to get bored when they are too verbose. This book didn't have one dull moment in it. It was riveting and terrifiying. I highly recommend this book to anyone. Next thing to do now, is go and see the movie. I would recommend reading the book first though. I hope you enjoy this book as I have!
