Does God really speak through dreams? Are there such things today as visions?
Absolutely, says author and pastor Jane Hamon. And what is more, God wants you to get the message! This concise guidebook unravels the scriptural meanings of dreams and visions, helping you discern when a dream is a prophetic direction for your life, what to do about a warning, how to recognize false messages--and much more.
In this newly revised and updated edition of her popular book, readers are encouraged to look with new eyes at the biblical basis for this everyday language. It is not complicated, says Hamon. The voice of the Lord is speaking. Don't miss what he is saying.

Dreams are a fascinating source of curiosity and entertainment and can include symbolism that is relevant to our lives. Dreaming can also be nature’s way of cleansing the mind of the detritus of day to day living, thought, and confusion. Dreams & Visions is well organized and features a number of theories about dreaming. Several sections are devoted to Biblical and spiritual symbolism. That is helpful if one dreams about seeds and sowers, vines and branches, but in the everyday life dreams, it is nearly impossible to discern messages. The book tries to establish methods of reading messages from God in dreams. The writer has taken a simple, natural process and complicated it beyond what is comfortable or understandable for the average person. When God has plans for us and if He chooses to contact us with a message, He is very specific and clear. He does not play games, but gets His message out in the open when the recipient can act on it. He will not bury His message under layers of ancient symbolism. I was given a free copy of this book in return for an honest review and I am sorry to say that I was disappointed. I think that the majority of readers will find it overly complicated and discouraging. This is my honest opinion and others may disagree. I recommend looking through the book before purchasing or reading it.
This book is written clearly, is easy to understand and contains very good scriptural evidences for types of dreams and visions. The author provides numerous examples of dreams and demonstrates how to interpret them. This is a great starter guide because it explains basic principles, but has little value beyond that.
