Drinking the Waters at the Shores of Hell: :True Stories

In Book 1 of a series, a young girl begins her walk along her Shores of Hell. Beginning in a post-World's Fair Seattle, she's taken to Alaska's wild, remote Kodiak Island, rebuilding after Alaska's major quake and tsunami. A series of events land her in early-1980's Los Angeles, where seashores are playthings and work follows regimented new rules.
