A Matter of Time

When her mother is diagnosed with ALS, Kathryn Calder, of The New Pornographers, gives up touring the world and moves back home to be her mother's primary care-giver in her final years. Inspired by her mother, a piano teacher, to pursue a life of music, Calder creates a recording studio in the house and works on a solo album to celebrate their mutual love of music.
