Manji (Takuya Kimura), a samurai cursed with immortality, is hired by a young woman (Hana Sugisaki) to avenge the death of her father. He quickly finds himself battling hundreds of adversaries, not only to help his charge but to win his own freedom as well. Sota Fukushi, Hayato Ichihara, and Erika Toda co-star in this samurai action film, which is based on a manga of the same name and is the 100th film of prolific director Takashi Miike.
