Mark Waters' remake of the family favorite Freaky Friday comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and is preferable to the standard full-frame image. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a behind-the-scenes featurette hosted by star Lindsay Lohan, two alternate endings with an introduction by director Mark Waters, a pair of music videos, and a blooper reel. For those interested in the best possible home theater sound and picture quality, the disc does offer a THX optimizer. This is a solid release from Disney.

my name is is what is your name?
Saw it with my ten year old niece, and we had a ball. Very funny and entertaining.
This movie was the best. I think everyone should buy it.
This movie rocks!! Lindsay Lohan really showed her talent for dual-acting once again. Jamie Lee Curtis was hilarious! When you first see her character, you think she never could lighten up, but just wait until the switch. This is a great mom/daughter movie, but my brother likes it a lot, too. When we went to see it, all three of us were laughing almost non-stop! 'Freaky Friday' is definitely one of my favorites.
I didn't think after the first freaky friday movie with Jodie foster there could be a better movie, but this one comes pretty close. It is funny and interesting. If Harry hadn't been as rude it would have been batter. But overall, it was great!
GET THE 1995 FREAKY FRIDAY
I've actually seen the old Freaky Friday with Jodie Foster, but I admit this new one has got its own pluses. I think Lindsay does an awesome job as a normal teen, but when she becomes an adult, it gets even better! I think anyone could like this movie, but there were a couple of curse words so you should watch it with your kids.
i have to disagree the older one is much better i mean come on your gonna do a remake of Freaky Friday then thats fine but the first one is way better! its a common fact when you remake a movie the orginal one is always better i like this one but the older one i rather sorry i just don't agree with everybody else!
A teenage girl in a band has a crush on the cute guitarist at her high school. Her mother is an esteemed psychologist who is unhappy with her failing grade and multiple detentions and is preparing to get married. One night, a Chinese restaurant, the girl and her mother are given fortune cookies which change their lives. . .
This movie is so great. The older one from the 1970's was great, but this time it outdone itself. It is about Tess,(Jamie Lee Curtis,) who is a busy mother, and her daughter, Anna, (Lindsey Lohan,) who is the gutiarist in their band, Pink Slip, and pushes on with her life along with her little brother Harry, who can get annoying to Anna. At a Chinese restaraunt, a waitress gives them each a fourtune cookie, and casts a spell. In the morning, they get to experience what it is like to be in eachother's shoes. This movie is funny, and I would very much recommend it for the whole family.
It seems that I was one of the few who did not rush to the movie theatre when this came out. I actually saw it on cable and I have to say that I LOVED IT!!!! I haven't laughed that hard in so long. And to this very day every time I see the scene where Chad Michael Murray gets clothes-lined by Lohan makes the movie worthwhile. I look forward to her other movies.
Freaky Friday was a very good movie. Critics are right when they say that it's hilarious. Some movies are supposed to be funny, but they're not-and Freaky Friday wasn't one of them.
LINDSAY LOHAN WAS GREAT FOR THE PART
This was a great movie more funny than the old one! i would remommend this to anyone who loves to laugh.
This was 1 of da funniest movies i've ever seen! Both Jamie and Lindsay were great, and made it look like they really were in each others shoes! I recommend this 2 anyone and everyone!
this was the most boring book i have ever read
Freaky friday was the best movie this summer! maybe even this year! it was one of the best movies i have ever saw.. and i love how lindsay lohan sings!! the day this movie comes out on DVD im going to buy it and watch it like 3,000 times... the book is good too but the movie is sooo much better! BUY THE DVD ITS THE BEST!!!

This was a great movie for the family, very light hearted w/ an outstandingly good point.you would have to see it to believe me.Fun for the whole family!.

this movie is better than the older / original version but then again just a different style w/ different actors makes all the difference. Better actors and acting.
