In 1994, before smartphones and wifi were ubiquitous, a secret startup in Silicon Valley known as General Magic was producing handheld devices long before the world was ready. As the company went into decline, these workers went on to become the forefathers of the internet age, building hugely successful careers and businesses of their own after proving that sometimes timing is everything.
