After the Sprague Electric Company abandoned their factory in North Adams, Massachusetts in the 1980s, the place became home to unemployment and crime. It was considered one of the worst places to live in in the state until Thomas Krens came into the picture. Museum Town is a documentary that revolves around the immense transformation North Adams underwent— from being a rural town on an economic downward spiral to a booming art town.
