Ocean Waves

A young Japanese man recalls his high-school days while visiting his hometown for a class reunion. Flashbacks detail the highs and lows of that period in his life, as he falls into a love triangle with his best friend and a mysterious transfer student. Directed by Tomomi Mochizuki, Ocean Waves was originally made as a TV movie by legendary Japanese animation house Studio Ghibli.
